Raff, Nando and I spent April Fool's Day hiking in to Orient Point to check out The Joker and Hidden Dragon, but the joke was on us. There was lots of post holing through up to thigh deep snow on a very windy day. The Joker was very thin, and both options for approach ice was covered with wet snow with wet sluffs and pin wheels falling over the WI2 step and a fully loaded slope over the WI3 step. We turned around.
