For a while, I have wanted to climb Bison Falls to see if a top rope could be set up on Transparent Fool (a little beyond my leading ability at this point). Ken and I went in to give it a try. Transparent Fool was just about done for the season, but there was still enough ice to get a top rope anchor set up near the top. The approach is quite long, especially when there is nothing but facets all of the way to the ground with ice climbing gear in your pack, but it was worth it.
