I went on an ACC trip to Mount Whymper with Andy, Dana and Paul. We started off in a light rain and carefully made our way up some wet, snow covered ledges. Eventually, a large slope of fresh snow over a layer of hard packed dirt (with no crampons) turned us around short of the summit. Still a great day out in the mountains.
